Tamil Nadu, the enthralling state located in southeast India with its grand Dravidian style temples, majestic gopurams, mesmerizing beaches, exotic wildlife and panoramic hill stations is home to four UNESCO World Heritage sites. Rameswaram temple, on Pamban Island, is a pilgrimage site, and Kanyakumari, at India’s southernmost tip, is the site of ritual sunrises.
