Day 01: Arrive Bagdogra / NJP - Darjeeling (Approx 93Kms/ 3Hrs)

Arrive at the airport/railway station, you will be met and greeted and then drive to Darjeeling – often referred to as the “Queen of the Hills”, standing high in the Himalayas at an altitude of 2134m offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountain peaks, with the Kanchendzonga rising higher than all the others. Arrive and check into the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 02: Darjeeling

Get up early morning at 04.00AM for experiencing the most spectacular sight to see the beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Range like Kanchandzonga, Mount Everest at the Tiger Hill. You can see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turns golden. It truly is a majestic sight. See the Ghoom Monastery which is oldest Monastery in the area which was built in 1875 and the image of Mythey Buddha 15ft. height on the way back from Tiger Hill. Return for breakfast at the hotel. Thereafter proceed for the beautiful city tour, visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute(closed on Thursday) which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mt. Everest, then the Zoological Park(closed on Thursday), the Tibetan Refugee Centre(closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, Tea Estate(from outside), Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. Evening free for shopping or leisure Return to the hotel.

Day 03: Darjeeling - Gangtok (Approx 98Kms / 4Hrs )

Today after breakfast, drive to Gangtok en route visiting Teesta village. Arrive Gangtok – Located at an altitude of 1750m, it became the state capital in the mid-19th century and has undergone rapid development since then. The downtown area is dominated by huge government buildings decorated with traditional Buddhist symbols. Gangtok is truly a traveller’s delight surrounded by Monasteries and Orchids. Arrive and check into the hotel.

Day 04: Gangtok

After a good breakfast, set out for a full day sightseeing of Gangtok visiting Banjhakri Waterfalls, Flower Show, Handicraft, Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten, Ropeway (On Direct payment) and Bakthang Falls. Return to the hotel.

Day 05: Gangtok

Today after breakfast you will leave for a full day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) which is 35 Kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snows off the surrounding mountains. Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the color of the lake’s waters. Later visit the New Baba Mandir. Return to the hotel and relax. Evening is free to stroll down the streets. (In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing.)

Day 06: Gangtok - Kalimpong (Approx 83Kms / 3Hrs)

This morning after breakfast, drive to Kalimpong, located at an altitude of 1250m, its location is ideal for a pleasant and relaxed getaway. Its climate has made Kalimpong’s orchids and gladiola well renowned. The town thrived as a wool trading center with Tibet till 1950s. Today it’s a quiet hill resort and a haven for honeymooners and tourists. Arrive and check into the hotel. Afternoon enjoy sightseeing in Kalimpong city tour visiting Delo Hill, Mangal Dham, Durpin Hill, and flower nurseries. Return to the hotel.

Day 07: Kalimpong - Bagdogra Airport / NJP Station (Approx 80Kms / 3Hrs)

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to the airport for your onward flight, taking away happy memories with a promise to “Let’s Journey’ again.
