Tour Plan

01

Day 01: Cochin - Munnar (Approx 130Kms / 4Hrs)

Today arrive into Cochin Airport/ Railway Station, you will be received by our representative and proceed to Munnar – Munnar, a hill station, in the Western Ghats Mountains in India’s Kerala state, dotted with tea plantations established in the 19th century – breathtakingly beautiful, a haven of peace and tranquility – the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. Enroute stop at Valera and Cheeyappara Waterfalls. Arrive Munnar, check into the hotel and relax for the day enjoying the beauty and serenity surrounding you.

Day 02: Munnar

After breakfast you will set out for a full day sightseeing of Munnar visiting the Eravikulam National Park, Rajamala Peak, Tea Museum (closed on Mondays), Mattupetty Dam where boating by speed boats is a great attraction, Also visit the Echo Point which is the highest point in Munnar and called so due to its natural echo phenomenon. Return to the hotel.

Day 03: Munnar - Thekkady (90Kms / 3Hrs)

Today after a good breakfast, leave for Thekkady, also popularly called Periyar for its famous wildlife reserve.

Arrive and check in the hotel. Rest of the day is free. Optionally enjoy a boat ride visiting the wildlife of Periyar. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. The greatest attraction is the herds of wild elephants that come down to play in the lake. Return to the hotel.

Day 04: Thekkady - Alleppey (138Kms / 4.5Hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey – The backwaters of Alappuzha is the most popular tourist attraction in Kerala. A houseboat cruise in these backwaters is a delightful experience. It connects Kumarakom and Cochin to the North and Quilon to the South.

Arrive at Alleppey to embark a houseboat at 12noon. Cruise through the scenic backwaters and enjoy the delicious Kerala meals.

Day 05: Alleppey - Kochi (135Kms / 4.5Hrs)

After breakfast, Disembark from houseboat at 9AM and drive back to Kochi – popularly known as Cochin, a major port city on the south west coast of India.

Take a brief sightseeing tour that you cannot miss – the charm of Cochin – the delightful Chinese Fishing Nets at Fort Kochi, They are fixed land installations, which are used for a very unique and unusual method of fishing.

Thereafter you will head straight for the Kochi airport for your onward journey taking with you a Big Smile.
