DAY 01: MANALI TO | JISPA (140 KMS / 06 HRS DRIVE)
Today we start our journey from pickup at Manali to Leh Stopping at Sarchu for a night. Today we cross Rohtang Pass (3978 m), Keylong (3350 m), Baralacha Pass (4890m) with overnight stopover at Sarchu (4253 m), border of the states of Himachal Pradesh (Lahaul) and Jammu & Kashmir (Ladakh). Upon arrival in Sarchu we check in at our tented campsite for vernight stay. Overnight at Camp
DAY 02: JISPA TO LEH (335 KMS | 11 – 12 HRS)
After an early breakfast we check out from the hotel and ride north on the Manali-Leh Highway. You get to see some of the most breath taking landscapes that the Western Himalayas can offer. The scenery gets more stark and barren as we climb up to the 16,500-foot high Baralacha La the second mountain pass on our journey. From the pass beautiful views of meadows and snow-capped mountains can be seen. And we proceed further through Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft. Lunch at Pang. After Lunch drive to Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft and Indus Valley. Upon arrival in Leh you’ll met by our representative and check in at our Hotel. Overnight at Hotel
DAY 03: LEH EXCURSION TO SHAM VALLEY REGION (90 KMS / 05 – 06 HRS)
Post Breakfast we proceed towards Sham Valley and start our another sightseeing starting with Hall Of Fame (Museum Constructed by India Army) near Leh is worth a visit for every Indian, and proceed further to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib at an altitude of 3600 Mtrs about 22 Kms from Leh was constructed in memory of Guru Nanak Dev ji Nestled deep in the Himalayas, A drive of another 4 km took us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. As you move ahead from Magnetic Hills, just before Nimmu Village, there comes a famous Confluence Of Two Rivers Indus River coming from Tibet (left) and Zanskar River coming from Zanskar Valley (right). Zanskar River is known for its famous Chadar Trek. Later we drive back to Leh for Dinner. Overnight at Hotel in Leh.
DAY 04: LEH–NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDUNG LA 18,390 FT. (120 KMS / 4 – 5 HRS)
Post breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level. Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Camp / Hotel in Hunder for Overnight stay. In the evening you can walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. A visit to a Ladakhi home can be arranged. Overnight Stay at the Camp or Hotel.
DAY 05: NUBRA VALLEY TO PANGONG LAKE (170 KMS / 7HRS)
Post breakfast we drive towards Pangong Tso via Agham & Shyok Valley. Some of the road patches in areas are extremely tough (towards nubra side) in terms of road conditions but no doubt the journey is very scenic! Later after crossing this adventurous part we drive further towards Durbuk & Tangtse for Pangong you pass through few small villages of Changthang and finally you can have a sudden view of the Pangong lake situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 133 Kms long with half of its running the other side of the “Indo China Border”. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. After the success of 3 Idiots, this beautiful natural location has attracted more tourists from all over the world. Upon arrival we check in at our Camp Near Pangong lake. Dinner & Overnight at the Camp.
DAY 06: PANGONG LAKE TO LEH VIA CHANGLA (140 KMS / 6HRS)
Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of lake and later we drive back to Leh via Changla Pass 5486 Mtrs enroute visiting Thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village and another 5 Kms driving through a picturesque landscape we reach to Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh & 3 Idiots Rancho School. Drive further to Leh and check in at our hotel. Overnight at hotel in Leh
DAY 07: LEH - AT LEISURE
Complete Day at Leisure to explore the destination on your own. Overnight at hotel in Leh
DAY 08: DEPART LEH
Today after breakfast you proceed to the airport to take your onward flight back home taking with you memories to cherish with Let’s Journey
SPECIAL NOTE & GUIDELINES FOR COVID-19
To avoid high altitude sickness Diamox tablet can be taken prior coming to Leh but only after consulting with your doctor.
Once you land in Leh Kindly wear jacket to avoid high altitude sickness.
Transport: As per the SOPs and guidelines regarding the commercial transport 5 people are permitted to travel in Innova, 8 people in Tempo Traveller. Please convey the same to the group as well to eliminate the last minute confusion.
Hotels: We have been using the hotels that are strictly following the health and hygiene SOPS suggested by MHA and WHO. The SOPS are being attached for your kind reference. Please go through the same.
Traveller: Post COVID-19 the entire globe has changed so has been the travel. We have tried to compile the SOPs for the travellers as well and kindly share the same with the traveller as well.
Itinerary: Please note sightseeing and excursion will be strictly as per the norm laid by the MHA and Monasteriies and other attractions opening and entry is subject to the guidelines suggested by MHA and local administration. You may find few sightseeing points non operational which have been mentioned in the itinerary kindly accept as it is on the given day.
